We designed a complete e-commerce concept for mobile devices, taking into account the whole value chain from the consumer to the operator and on to the retailer. Extensive research into mobile commerce helped us define the main concerns consumers have when shopping online via mobile devices. This enabled us to design a solution that provides the best possible user experience for shoppers.
At the core of our e-commerce concept is the desire to deliver an exceptionally simple and fun buying experience. The Shopping Centre mobile app allows consumers to create their own gift lists and share product information and recommendations with one another in true social-networking style. In order to enable a superior mobile-shopping experience, we included faster-than-ever browsing and discoverability functions as well as quick and straightforward product sorting and payment methods. All the while, we were particularly focused on ensuring information security and transaction consistency.
We designed the Shopping Centre mobile app to be easily implemented on all major operating systems. The backend can be integrated into operators’ invoicing systems, online retailers’ databases and ordering systems. The Shopping Centre app brings operators increased revenue and allows online retailers to benefit from the readily defined advertising channel and increase their sales volumes.
