Ixonos arranged a mini-roadshow for the world famous C++ guru Bjarne Stroustrup in March. The roadshow was very well received. Thank you for Bjarne and everyone taking part in the events.  

Stroustrup appeared as the star speaker of Oulu Linux seminar arranged by Ixonos in Oulu, Finland on 16 March 2010. He also held open talks in Espoo, Finland and Copenhagen, Denmark. Stroustrup’s topic was the trends and future of C++, as well as the renewed C++ standard.

Bjarne Stroustrup is the designer and original implementer of C++ and the author of “Programming -- Principles and Practice using C++”, "The C++ Programming Language" and “The Design and Evolution of C++”.

Dr. Stroustrup, originally from Denmark, is currently working in USA as the College of Engineering Chair Professor in Computer Science at Texas A&M University.
