Our service-attitude joins together flexible methods, expertise and innovative solutions. Our customers thank us for our commitment and fearlessness. We have the courage to step in to the middle of demanding integration matters in multi-supplier environments and find the best modes of operation for our clients' business needs and help them reach their goals. In my own work, service-orientation is realized in communicating with clients and in meeting them face to face. I like the fact that, together with my colleagues, we advance our clients' business. Here we have the opportunity to succeed and learn.
I do project management consulting in customer organizations. I also participate in the preparation of customer offers related to project management and I support the sales function. The most rewarding part of my work is to see how the customer's project culture develops positively. Exchange of experiences and information sharing are natural things at Ixonos.
I started as software tester in a Symbian project and now I work as group manager. My work tasks have developed and become more varied during my time with Ixonos. In addition to being group manager my work nowadays includes for example job interviews, group meetings and work time monitoring. I also did my diploma work as part of an Ixonos customer project.
Before I came to work at Ixonos, I was teaching Informatics, Hospital Information Systems and Bio-medical Statistics at the university. The difference between my work as a teacher and as a Java developer is not as great as it might seem: both involve computers and people. In teaching and in programming the aim is the same: to find a solution that makes things clear to other people. I am keen on learning new things, and that is necessary in programming. It is satisfying to have a job that is interesting and develops my skills. The best thing about Ixonos is the exciting atmosphere.
I started working at Ixonos in 2007. I found Ixonos interesting especially because of its international projects. For example, I recently visited Ixonos' head office in Finland. I also like the career opportunities at Ixonos. If you have the will and the passion, you will find a lot of opportunities to advance your career.
I joined Ixonos in January 2005. Currently I am responsible for leading a team; very dedicated people, as everyone at Ixonos. Together we help our clients produce high quality products and services. I find my job inspiring and challenging - sometimes you have to find non-standard solutions to deal with tricky situations. These kinds of projects are the most rewarding ones. It's great to create something that no one has ever created before.
Currently I am working in one project that has been developing very rapidly since it began as a small pilot several months ago. Now it consists of 7 independent subprojects! I deal with a variety of tasks from test case design and execution to resource allocation and solving running issues. My job is challenging, demanding and very versatile. I like being a part of a big international corporation that appreciates and respects personal qualities of the worker and tries to create a pleasant work environment.
I have worked at Ixonos for over a year. I started as a test automation engineer and am now a group manager. Now I spend more time communicating with people and helping them solve all manner of issues. I still like to advance my skills engineer-wise and I have passed ISEB Foundation. I think, being a manager, I am still obligated to know the everyday work as well. My co-workers and my customers have a passionate attitude towards creating new solutions. It is pleasing to help their efforts come to life, and picking up their passion and speed is truly addicting. I work in a multicultural team where individuality is appreciated as an asset: being different is seen as a positive thing.
I started to work for Ixonos as a trainee in 2007. My first project was one of the first testing projects here in Kosice it was great to be involved from the beginning! In my work I execute test cases and create test reports. I like the possibility to develop technologies and do things better. Actually working with the latest technologies is one of the best things of my work. I also appreciate our good atmosphere and great workmates.
CAREERS. People.
