IXONOS IVI CONNECT™ WITH MIRRORLINK™

With Ixonos IVI Connect consumers can use different content and features, for example apps or media, on their mobile devices – or directly from cloud – from the car’s head unit and rear seat displays. The solution supports MirrorLink as well as iOS,  Android and Windows-based devices.

The solution consists of two software stacks – one for head units (Connectivity Client) and one for mobile devices and cloud servers (Connectivity Server). In addition to selling licenses of the software stacks, Ixonos provides support to its customers in integrating the solution into the customers’ head units or mobile devices.

MIRRORLINK CERTIFICATION TESTING

All head units and applications that are MirrorLink-based must be certified by the Car Connectivity Consortium. Special certification tests need to be passed in order to get the certificate, which can be only executed by an Authorized Test Laboratory, ATL for MirrorLink. Ixonos has one of the first ATLs , and the only laboratory that provides also software development services.
