Tietoviikko, in co-operation with Ixonos, is arranging a Finnish cloud event on 29 March 2012 at Ravintola Palace in Helsinki. The event looks at how the cloud environment can boost online business and is targeted for decision makers working in IT, development and strategy related roles. 

The morning event offers a compact, informative package of views to the development of online business as well as a review of new solution models to using cloud services more diversely. 

From Ixonos, Business Development Director Jari Kekkonen will be speaking about utilizing the cloud environment in service development. The topic is approached as a business case, and Jari is joined on stage by Mikko Matilainen, director of infrastructure services from Fonecta Oy.

The Cloud Conference, Sweden’s most comprehensive, independent event on cost-efficient IT solutions, will be held for the fourth time on 1 December 2011 in Stockholm, Sweden.

At the event, Teppo Kuisma, Head of Online Solutions at Ixonos, will be delivering a speech with the topic of “Building Ixonos Elastic Cloud with Red Hat”. The Rugby Expo 2011 brings the business world of rugby under one roof, combining technical, creative and commercial development of the sport. The expo is held this year at Twickenham Stadium in London, on 23-24 November 2011 and offers networking and business opportunities from the world of rugby. The conference programme is designed to support both the technical and commercial development of the sport. It combines master class workshops and live exhibition to produce the ideal environment for learning the latest developments in the game and to meet the most influential people from all areas of the game and globe.

IBM’s Software Day and Cognos Performance events, arranged separately in previous years, have now been combined to form one of Finland’s largest expert forums for technology topics. The first IBM Smarter Business Forum event will be digging into how intelligent thoughts and ideas can be transformed into action and results. The event takes place on Thursday, 3 November 2011, at 08-20, in Finlandia Hall in Helsinki.

Ixonos is an IBM ValueNet partner and participates in the event as a gold-level partner. In his speech the head of Ixonos’ Online Solutions services Teppo Kuisma will introduce a project where Ixonos’ performance management and steering was fine-tuned with the aid of IBM Cognos solution.
