The joint solution is based on Ixonos IVI Connect™ and Jungo’s MediaCore, automotive connectivity middleware. Ixonos IVI Connect is a software product for in-vehicle smartphone and cloud integration, compatible with existing industry standards as well as iOS and Android-based devices. The solution offers great performance and user experiences even in demanding use cases, such as HD video playback and gaming for rear seat passengers. MediaCore™ is a comprehensive connectivity and media-management infrastructure that enables manufacturers of in-car infotainment systems to integrate media access and control, media streaming and phone and Internet connectivity into their designs.
